One of the best things about your pet in Torchlight II is that you can send it to the market to buy and sell items for you while carry on in your quest. However you are left companion-less for a short while. So it is better not to get into a fight during this time, especially if you are running low on health potions.
This is how you buy or sell your items through your pet in Torchlight II :
1. Press P to open the pet inventory.
2. Press I to open your inventory.
3. Shift+Left click the item that you wanna sell from your inventory. this will transfer the item from your inventory to your pet's inventory.
4.Click on 'shopping list' and click the plus "+" sign to choose the number of potions or scrolls you want to purchase.
5. Finally click the green house like symbol to send it to the marketplace.
A timer will indicate how much time is left before your pet returns.
When your pet returns a confirmation message will tell you that your pet has returned with the gold from the sale of your items and the items that you wished to purchase.
